Hugo Johannsen is an aspiring production designer and art director.

Since graduating from AFTRS in 2025, Hugo has begun his professional career as an art assist and runner on TV and Film productions, including the series Colin from Accounts and feature-film Relentless.

His own design work has focused on ambitious short films across sci-fi, historical, and dramatic genres, providing him with a breadth of knowledge and skills.

He aims to elevate his professional career by stepping into set decoration, props making, VFX, or swing departments in the near future.

Hugo is available for hire for production design and other art department roles.
